From Vision to Global Reach
From humble beginnings with just a single table and one helping hand, Mr. M. Afzal Malbarwala, Founder and Managing Director, laid the foundation for what would become one of India’s trusted logistics companies, with the support of his father, the Late Mr. Tayeb Ismail Malbarwala.
Galaxy Freight Pvt. Ltd. was established with a commitment to delivering reliable, customer-focused logistics solutions. The company earned IATA accreditation and became a member of FIATA and the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI), reinforcing its commitment to international standards and operational excellence.
As the company grew, it expanded its global capabilities through a strategic joint venture with Cargo Services Far East, Hong Kong, establishing Galaxy Cargo Services (India) LLP. Following DP World’s acquisition of Cargo Services Far East, Galaxy Cargo Services became part of the DP World network, further strengthening its global reach and service capabilities.
Today, Galaxy Freight continues to provide integrated freight forwarding and supply chain solutions, backed by decades of expertise, trusted carrier partnerships, and a customer-first approach.
